In addition to heavy fines, you could face the loss of your license and increased insurance rates. You won't be able to just pay off your traffic ticket and make it go away. By paying your fine, you are pleading guilty and your ticket will remain on your record. We can provide you with a comprehensive defense, helping you reduce all immediate traffic offense consequences, including fighting a license suspension.

We represent clients who face a variety of criminal traffic offenses and civil traffic infractions such as:

  • Driving While License Suspended (Habitual Traffic Offender)
  • Driving While License Suspended (DWLS)
  • Driving While License Suspended Without Knowledge (DWLS w/out)
  • No Valid Driver’s License
  • Reckless Driving
  • Speeding tickets
  • Drunk driving and DUI

Habitual Traffic Offender

If you have been cited three or more times within a five-year period for driving with a suspended license your license will be suspended for five years. Even if one of the convictions is a DWLS (without knowledge) you can still qualify as a habitual traffic offender and lose your license for five years. This usually occurs when someone with a DWLS (without knowledge) pays the civil infraction, and forgets about the ticket. Many people think that since they paid the fine on nothing more than a traffic citation, there is nothing left to do. What many people do not realize is that although their ticket for DWLS (without knowledge) is a traffic infraction, it still qualifies as a prior conviction under the Habitualization Statute when they pay the ticket.

Habitual DUI Offenders

When you have been charged with multiple drunk driving violations, you face increased consequences as a habitual offender. The consequences continue to become more severe with every traffic offense. If you are found guilty of three DUIs within ten years, you will receive an automatic ten-year license suspension.
