Tampa criminal court case results
another chance, juvenile avoids multiple burglary charges»
- juvenile intervention
- facts: The client was arrested shortly after co-defendants implicated him in a number of thefts occuring in Tampa. Many juveniles tend to commit crimes with their friends (co-defendants). This does not make the defense of their case impossible, but it can complicate matters. In this particular case our client was alleged to have teamed up with a number of other juveniles to commit a rash of burglaries. The State was insistent on pursuing our client because he was given an oppurtunity to complete a juvenile intervention program for another criminal offense when the the new burglary charges were committed.
- defense: Sworn Depositions were taken of the Tampa Police officers assigned to the case which ultimately revealed proof problems for the prosecutor.
- results: The State prosecutor was forced to dismiss a number of burglary charges, and our client was given another oppurtunity seal his record.
